Beatrice Savadye-Zimbabwe





Beatrice is a phenomenal young woman who is passionate about young women. She is a dedicated advocate who has championed young women's rights and succesfully leading a sanitary wear campaign in her country. She believes in the power that young people have to change the world.



Gwenn Chimuti -Zimbabwe



An ambitious and dedicated young woman who is diligently comitted to bringing about lasting and positive change for yougn people's sexual and reproductive health and rights. She is driven by a strong passion for young people's development. Bolivia is young woman who is vibrant and a go getter.She believes in the power within herself to transform her community





Florence Khakas-Namibia




A poet by night, a women's rights defender by day. A radical Feminist and a young leader in the queer movement in Namibia. Florence is the director of a feminist organisation called Young Feminists Movement Namibia. I Love spending lots of time in the nature and walking my dogs. I love reading Audre Lorde's poetry. I love working with young women and aim on publishing short stories and poetry by young women from the SADC region.





Janet Bhila-Zimbabwe




A young woman who is vibrant and a go getter. Janet is a self starter and passionate about young women





Charmaine Pircado-Zimbabwe



A dancer,poet,instrumentalist and TV presenter, Charmaine is a determined young womanwho believes in equality.

A vibrant young woman who is accomodative and hard working. She believes that the world can be a better place if all people take responsibility of their actions

Young Women's Training

Southern African Young Women's Network is a regional young women’s movement aimed at increasing the capacity and access to sexual and reproductive health rights. We are dedicated to:

·      Bringing positive change in young women’s lives

·      Build the capacities of young women to access resources

·      participate in the developmental processes in their countries

·      reduce violence against young women

SAYWN is operational in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia
